Contemporary theatre maker

I am a freelance theatre maker specialising in creative tech and contemporary theatre.

I'm a versatile collaborator, often bridging artistic and technical worlds and providing dramaturgical support to theatre makers, writers, dancers, and other artists.

What does a theatre maker do?

For me and my work, being a theatre maker means I am often creating 'new' theatre (that is developed either from new writing or a devising process) and working across a range of roles.

From acting to directing, writing to tech, even visual and digital design, I enjoy wearing many different hats and shaping the work from multiple angles.

A lot of my work is collaborative, working with other theatre makers and creatives to make live or theatrically influenced work.

The sort of theatre I’m all about

Championing weird stories

Big on strange and weird. Hoping to find imaginative and poetic ways of sharing true things in visceral ways.

In search of a universal theatre

I’m an international kid. I'm interested in work that reaches everyone regardless of where we come from, how we think, or the languages we speak.

Sensory driven creative technology

Done with scrolling? Me too. I want to use technology to bring us back to our bodies and remind us what action feels like. Smells like? Tastes like.

Words, words, words

Over the last several years, I've had a focus on the presentation of words. I'm interested in how they can perform meaning, particularly in contexts like creative captioning, through form and movement.

An immersive practice

Site-specific, interactive, and gamified experiences galore.
